Halifa Ayshegul Ashki al-Jerrahi, who is originally from Turkey, has been practicing Universal Sufism under the guidance of various teachers of Nur Ashki Jerrahi Lineage within Halveti-Jerrahi Sufi Order, including Dr. Lex Hixon- Sheikh Nur al-Jerrahi, and Sheikha Fariha al-Jerrahi, both of whom appointed her one of their successors. She has been offering the teachings of her Sufi Path at the Unity Church of Tustin, CA.

Ayshegul holds a BA degree in Education, and an MA degree in Science of Creative Intelligence (scientific study of consciousness from Indian Vedic perspective.) She has studied World Religions extensively under various Spiritual Masters holding authentic lineage. She also holds a Holistic Practitioner's degree from San Diego School of Healing Arts.

She is a member of the Peacemaker Community, and is actively participating in the Interfaith Councils, Trans-traditonal Councils, Oneness Movements and Community Service Groups.

Charlene has been involved in animals since she was a young child, having been an only child, her pets were her best and dearest friends. She never lost her love and connection and over the years she has worked in veterinary hospitals, been involved in showing purebred dogs, especially Bearded Collies and currently owns three that she shows, does animal assisted therapy work with them, and also does performance activities with such as agility and rally. 

She has been a contributor for several metaphysical publications in Orange County as well as the holistic magazine, Animal Wellness. She writes a monthly newsletter for her clients and visitors to her website who sign up for the newsletter. She is involved in no-kill shelters in her area, serving in an advisory capacity.
